The Wilderness Act of 1964

The purpose of The Wilderness Act of 1964 course is to acquaint you with the contents of this law and equip you to consider its impact in managing a wilderness area.
This is a foundational course and, along with Minimum Requirements Analysis, is a required prerequisite, which you must take and pass with an 80% or higher, for all the Arthur Carhart National Wilderness Training Center courses. These required courses provide the foundation for subsequent courses and for conducting management actions within wilderness.
